Points Scoring System
Each competitor / participant will be awarded points for each event as below:
Points will count towards the Team / Club and Individual awards Each competitor / participant will receive 2 points per event entered
No competitor / participant will receive more prize points than the total number of cars entered in that event, i.e. if five cars are entered in an event, the winner will receive 5 points, plus 2 for participation, second 4 points plus two, etc.
Mothers Show ’n Shine:
For each category in the Mothers Show ’n Shine (engine bay, boot, exterior, interior), the points scored per section of the car will be combined and the totals will be ranked from 1st (Maximum 10 points) as per points system above
Minibitz Survivor Competition:
10 points for winner, down to 1 point for 10th place (as per points system above)
Park and Display:
2 points will be awarded to all participants.
ELWA / Yokohama Autocross:
For each category, points will be awarded as follows,10 points for winner, down to 1 point for 10th place (as per points system above)
ELWA / Herb Morgan Motorkhana:
For each category, points will be awarded as follows, 10 points for winner, down to 1 point for 10th place (as per points system above)
N.B. The speed events will be decided by time and only the overall placings for each class will be subject to these regulations.
Pak ’n Save Sylvia Park Navigational Trial:
10 points for winner, down to 1 point for 10th place (as per points system above)
Protecta Insurance Auckland Tour:
2 points for participation.
Team / Club Points:
Every competitor will be allocated to a team, based on which club they enter on the registration form. Points for places of individual competitors / participants will be added together, then divided by the number of team members to decide team placings.
2014 Auckland Mini Nationals Overall Winner:
This will be awarded to the competitor with the most accumulated points from all events competing in their principal car.
