Sunday 21st January - Dawnbreaker Run
Our annual Dawnbreaker run - because everyone wants to get up before dawn on a Sunday to drive around madly, then meet up for breakfast.
Meet approx 5:50AM at Fred Amber lookout on Gladstone Road, Parnell -- overlooking the container wharf, same as last year. Driver's Briefing is at 6AM, first car away at 6:15AM. Bring: Pen, Clipboard, and money for breakfast (that's the first clue). Prize for best dressed Dawn-breaker - e.g. night shirt, pajamas, onesies, or dressing gown. Contact Murray 027 488 1960 for questions.

Friday 26th January to Sunday 28th January - Rodders Beach Festival in Orewa
Hibiscus Rodders host their annual Beach Festival Weekend. More info on their website.
The event is open to "all American origin cars/motorbikes or any pre 75 cars/motorbikes." The Sunday show-and-shine might be a fun trip after Caffeine & Classics, for folks who like shiny cars other than Minis.

Meet at Smales Farm Business Park, at the corner of Taharoto and Northcote Roads in Takapuna. Stand around, drink coffee, look at shiny cars.
Officially the event runs from 10am-Noon, but folks start arriving anytime after 9am. We try to get parking for all the Minis just past the barrier arm, first aisle on the right.

Come join us for our first Club Night of the year.
Saturday 10th February - Ellerslie Classic Car Show 2018 Tours d'Elegance
Organised by the MG Car Club, this open to all event is one of the biggest classic driving events on the calendar. Six Tours, starting all over Auckland and ending at Vellenoweth Green in St Heliers. It will happen on Saturday 10th February, the day before the Ellerslie Classic Car Show.
The club's own Deryck Freeland is leading Tour 1 - West Tour d'Elegance! More information and registration on their website. Registration on the day is possible, though each tour is capped at 40 vehicles. $5 donation towards costs is expected.

Now enjoy Whangamata in a British car without the British cold and wet.

Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga, 10am to 3pm.
We will meet up beforehand and enter as a group, location to be decided closer to the date.
Also, the organizers may need some volunteers to direct cars during setup.
