Sunday 29th December - Caffeine & Classics
Meet at Smales Farm Business Park, at the corner of Taharoto and Northcote Roads in Takapuna. Stand around, drink coffee, look at shiny cars. Officially the event runs from 10am-Noon, but folks start arriving anytime after 9am. We will park all the Minis just past the barrier arm on the RHS

Sunday 19th January - Dawn Breaker Run
The Dawn Breaker Run is back for another year! Meet at Fred Ambler lookout, Gladstone Road, Parnell, overlooking the container wharf for a 6am start - first car away at 6:15am approximately. Bring a pen, clipboard, and money for breakfast. Prize for best dressed - theme is pajamas, dressing gown, etc. We’ll end up at the Torpedo Bay Navy Museum Café for coffee and breakfast at about 8.30am. For details, contact Steve 021 1934618

Saturday & Sunday 8th & 9th February – Leadfoot Festival
The Leadfoot Festival is a unique weekend on the New Zealand and international calendar that brings together a unique mix of classic cars, vintage motorcycles and motorsport legends. New Zealand racing legend, Rod Millen opens his private grounds at the Leadfoot Ranch in the Coromandel to host more than 150 champion and competitive race participants. www.leadfootfestival.com Not an official club event but if we enter as a group of Minis we can all park together. Sunday 9th February – The Ellerslie Concours d'Elegance & Classic Car Show
www.concours.org.nz Theme for 2020 is “Carnival" If you’ve got a brightly coloured or dressed up themed Mini and are keen to and want to be in the show contact Warrick. The annual event open to the public, and organised on behalf of motor vehicle clubs in order to allow those clubs to display vehicles, promote their clubs and take part in friendly competition. We’ll have our usual display area.
Tuesday 4th February - Club Night – 7.30pm Northern Sports Car Club
Monthly club night meeting – Mix ‘n’ Mingle Night - First Meeting of the year, bring out all those Minis and let's get as many together as possible taking advantage of the light evenings to stand about, look about, chat and enjoy our wonderful club.

Friday – Sunday 14-16th February – Brits at the Beach
www.britsatthebeach.co.nz The annual event held at Whangamata and now in the summer! The highlight for car enthusiasts is the Saturday morning parade starting at 9am and the classic car Brit car park up on Saturday and Sunday mornings. For a unique gathering of all things British this event is not to be missed. Not an official club event, but for those that are keen we’ll convoy down on the Friday, leaving Maraetai beach front at 8.30am on the Friday for the Grahamstown park up at 10am. On the Saturday we’ll leave KFC Carpark Bombay at 6.30am for the Saturday morning parade.

Meet at Wintergarden Rd at Auckland Domain 10.30pm. Midnight run around the central city, take in Parnell, K road, Queen Street, Winyard and others on this new event for 2020. Contact Richard Underwood for details of this fabulous run.
Sunday 1st March – Brits & Euro show Howick
The annual Brits & Euro show takes place at Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga from 10am until 3pm. We always have a great turnout of Minis and all are welcome. Park up needs to be completed by 9am and therefore we will meet at Placemakers Carpark Pakuranga and convoy into the event together. We’d really like a big turnout this year and have booked a space for 45 cars. Theme up and dress your cars to suit their period and lets have some fun at our official club yearly get together. NOTE: This event now represents our yearly show and shine and vehicles will be judged and the 2019 winners will be picked for all classes. Bring a boot lunch and we’ll enjoy together under the tent. The Auckland Brit & Euro Classic Car Show is a FREE fun day out for people of all makes, models and ages. We’ve registered enough spaces for the club.

Saturday 7th March – Howick Hop
Get your vintage on for a street park up running from 9.30am-2pm in Howick Picton Street.
Those displaying vehicles will receive a $15.00 brunch or lunch voucher to be redeemed

Sunday 15th March – Economy Run
A new one for 2020. Meet at BP 102 Great South Road at 9pm, we’ll be testing how heavy your foot is on a pre determined route. Finishing at Friend of the Farmer Café, Kings Plant Barn, Takanini.

Tuesday 7th April - Club Night – 7.30pm Northern Sports Car Club
Monthly club night meeting – It’s a month of motorsport activities from Hampton Downs track day to the Autocross, but tonight we’ll kick it all off with the Mini Race night! Its time to pit your skills against the others in the club, we’re bringing back rocker cover racing, Mini Scalextric races, wheel change challenge. Spark plug challenge. You’ll be scored on your times and the extra points for bringing your own ‘racer’.

We’ll be hooking up with Minis Waikato for a Autocross get together, more details to follow but save the date!
Sunday 26th April - Caffeine & Gasoline
Leaving KFC Carpark, Bombay at 8.30am to head to Caffeine & Gasoline at Hampton Downs. This new event to our club calendar will allow access to both classic and BMW Minis. Well also be meeting with the central region clubs. Provisionally we have access to the Hampton Downs Club Circuit in the afternoon 12.30 -4.30 dependent on attendees. Likely cost is $150 per driver based on 20 Minis (drivers) paying. You’ll be grouped into equal speeds and will get plenty of track time, 4x sessions of 10 laps. Neck restraints, race suits and crash helmets required, can be hired from HD.

Sunday 7th June – Italian Job city Run
Time to celebrate another Mini Institution, the classic 1969 Movie ‘The Italian Job’ was released on 5th June 1969 so we’ll mark the occasion with a follow the leader tour around the city. A lot of disorganized fun in 2019 se we’ll try again for another random session in 2020. Notes if we get separated. More details to follow as the Central City Road Closures may require some diversions through sewers, across weirs, shopping malls but probably not the alps. Followed by breakfast.

Sunday 12th July – Fish & Chip run to Kaiaua
July marks the midpoint of winter, what better way to spend it than out in our Minis. The Auckland Mini Car Club Mid-Winter Meander to Miranda run will take us through some sunning native bush scenery, twisty bits and outstanding coastal roads. We’ll finish for a ‘fish and chips’ lunch at the Kaiaua Fish and Chip shop. For those of you who want to warm up afterwards it’s onto the Miranda hot pools. So pack your flask, travel blankets and hot water bottles and let's wake up those sleeping Minis.
